The Auditori of Barcelona is one of the most acclaimed places for classical music recitals, and Barcelona based design studio Toormix asked
Serial Cut to establish a renewal in the communication. Therefore they have made 4 visuals; each visual is made of the 4 different areas of their program for 2012 and 2013. The images are inspired on the music and architecture of the building.
The wooden box exists out of the motives that can be found on the building itself. The forms that come out of the box consist of parts of instruments but are not yet complete. This is something the viewer has to do.
The challenge was – besides creating a visually attractive image – to also give the campaign an extra layer of depth by adding a strong concept. We like it a lot, great job Serial cut!
